Hidden Gems Archery was founded with a clear mission: to bring the sport of archery to urban youth and adults, particularly those from Black and Brown communities, with a focus on women and people of color.

As a MWBE-certified business with both City and State recognition, we are committed to creating inclusive and accessible programs that ensure every person has the opportunity to explore and excel in archery. We believe in the power of archery to transform lives, instill discipline, and build a strong sense of community. The skills and personal development gained through our programs not only last a lifetime but are transferable to all areas of life, transcending sports into the real world.

OUR VISION

We aim to make the Olympic sport of archery accessible and enjoyable for all youth and adults in urban communities.

OUR MISSION

Hidden Gems Archery is dedicated to giving everyone in urban areas the opportunity to experience archery where they live, work and play. We aim to address the diversity problem in USA Archery by creating opportunities and pathways for underrepresented groups such as women and people of color to enter and excel in the sport of archery. Through community engagement, educational programs, and competitive events, we strive to inspire and elevate a generation of archers coming out of urban communities.

Inspiration and Community Impact

Inspired by the Easton Sports Development Foundation and their successful Olympic Archery in Schools (OAS) programs, Hidden Gems Archery is committed to fostering community and inclusivity. Our initiative to introduce archery in neighborhoods lacking access to traditional ranges embodies this belief, creating opportunities for everyone to experience the sport.

We create experiences and meaningful relationships that contribute to the growth of all who participate, particularly our youth, whom we aspire to see become healthy, confident, and self-efficacious individuals.
